Origins and Alliances
Initially allied with Mahito and the curses group, Choso discovers during the Shibuya Incident that Suguru Geto, whose body is controlled by Noritoshi Kamo, is in fact his creator, sharing a family bond with him. Upon learning that Yuji Itadori is also a child of this entity, he chooses to see him as a brother and support him, radically changing sides.
Physical Appearance
Choso is a tall athletic man whose imposing silhouette is accentuated by his long black hair styled in two buns. His tousled fringe falls over a forehead marked by a wide horizontal black line, often accompanied by nosebleeds. His intense black eyes and pronounced dark circles emphasize his serious and mysterious character.

Story and Journey
Past
Choso is part of the mysterious Nine-Phase Fetuses, created by a woman capable of procreating with curses. Noritoshi Kamo, possessed by Kenjaku, experimented on their mother, integrating his own blood into that of the fetuses, making him a “third parent” to Choso and his brothers. Although his memories of the past are vague, Choso harbors deep hatred toward Noritoshi for manipulating his family.
He and his brothers were later sealed as relics, enclosed in a protective spell.
Group Instinct Arc
In 2018, still incarnated in human bodies through Mahito, Choso and his brothers join the curses, sharing their nihilistic and decadent worldview.
During a moment playing with Suguru Geto and Mahito, he senses the assassination of his brothers. Suguru reveals that Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki are responsible for their death.
Shibuya Incident Arc
On October 31 in Shibuya, Choso allies with Jogo and Hanami to try to defeat Satoru Gojo. Despite a fierce battle marked by uses of Gojo’s Domain Expansion, the altered humans end up frozen and incapacitated.
Choso then continues the battle alongside Mahito and Suguru, aiming to eliminate Yuji to avenge his brothers. Their confrontation ends in a station where disturbing memories lead Choso to see Yuji as a brother, radically changing allegiance.
Facing Noritoshi Kamo, he demands answers but is interrupted by Uraume and other exorcists. Yuji comes to his aid as Yuki Tsukumo appears, forcing the enemy to retreat.
Yuji Execution Arc
After the Shibuya Incident, Choso accompanies Yuji in hunting curses. He faces Naoya Zenin in an intense fight, using his signature Red Scale Charge technique to poison his opponent before being incapacitated by Yuta Okkotsu.
Together, they visit the exorcism school where Choso uses his connection to the Nine-Phase Fetuses to locate Tengen’s territory. He also promises to come back for his missing brothers.
