Informed that Jinwoo held the position of tenth S-Rank hunter in Korea, Gunhee sought to recruit him, aware of his potential impact on national balance. After being convinced by Jinwoo’s honesty and values, a bond of trust developed between them. Gunhee even shared a friendly moment with Jinchul, Jinwoo’s deputy, temporarily setting aside his ministerial responsibilities.
Analyzing Jinwoo’s complex path, Gunhee expressed great admiration for his determination to protect his family, even at the risk of his life. He was also surprised to learn that Jinwoo had joined a mining guild, choosing an unconventional path.

As the International Guild Conference approached, Gunhee suffered a brutal attack. Despite a fierce battle against Monarch Sillad, he sustained serious injuries. By his courageous sacrifice, he created a breach in a magical barrier, allowing his allies to warn Jinwoo. Refusing the young hunter’s help, he chose to face his fate with dignity.
Legacy and Conclusion
After events related to the Reincarnation Cup, Gunhee lived a different life, exempted from the hunter’s fate and the ensuing war. When his health severely declined, Jinwoo visited him and offered a miraculous potion granting ten extra years of life. At the end of this period, Go Gunhee chose to depart in peace, enriched by the bright memory of their shared battles.
